The platform cannot be logged in to. How do I resolve this?
Platform login failures generally have the following two causes. Identify the cause and refer to the corresponding solution to troubleshoot:
Cause 1
The management IP in the Management Node configuration file does not match the IP shown in the management service status output.
Solution
-
Connect to the Management Node via SSH.
-
Edit the Management Node configuration file: open
/usr/local/zstack/apache-tomcat/webapps/zstack/WEB-INF/classes/zstack.propertiesand update management.server.ip and any other related IP addresses to the correct values. -
Run the following command to restart the Management Node service:
[root@localhost ~]# zstack-ctl stop && zstack-ctl start -
Log in to the platform again. The login succeeds.
Cause 2
The platform is inaccessible and the host dmesg output shows a Temperature above threshold message, which may indicate abnormal CPU temperature on the host.
Solution
-
Check whether the data center air conditioning is functioning properly.
-
Check the status of the rack where the host is located.
