How do I modify the network segment of an existing Distributed Port Group?

Solution

Go to the network details page and click Actions > Add IPv4/IPv6 Network Segment.

The new IP address range must not overlap with existing ranges.
To reduce an existing network segment, delete it and then add the desired range.

Deleting a network segment causes the NICs of associated virtual machines to be detached.
