Windows安装VMTools出现“There is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A program run as part of the setup did not finish as expected Contact your support personnel or package vendor”提示，怎么办？

原因

虚拟机之前安装的版本较低的VMTools有残留，需清理干净安装包后重新安装。

解决方案

2. 删除注册表中的键值，msdtc服务（分布式事务协调器）重建。以管理员身份打开运行命令行窗口，执行以下命令：

   reg delete HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\MSDTC /f
   reg delete HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\MSDTC /f
   reg delete HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CID /f
   net stop msdtc
   msdtc -uninstall
   msdtc -install

3. 重启虚拟机。

4. 在命令行窗口执行以下命令卸载版本较低的QGA：

   msiexec /a "c:\Program Files\GuestTools\qemu-ga.msi" targetdir="c:\Program Files"
   "c:\Program Files\QEMU Guest Agent\Qemu-ga\qemu-ga.exe" -s vss-uninstall

5. 重新安装VMTools。
