Running chronyc sources -v on a host returns an error. What should I do?
ZSvirt was open-sourced from the ZStack ZSphere commercial project and has since developed independently. Some code, configuration, and documentation still retain historical ZStack/ZSphere names (such as environment variables, configuration items, dependencies, paths, and commands). These names are for compatibility only and do not affect the normal use of ZSvirt.
Symptom
Running chronyc sources -v on a host returns the error: libedit.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory.
Cause
The libedit dependency package is missing from the host.
Solution
-
Log in to the host and run the following command to manually install the libedit package:
[root@localhost ~]# yum --disablerepo=* --enablerepo=zstack-local install -y libedit
