USB device is not recognized

Cause

The issue may be caused by an enabled Huawei KVM virtual keyboard and mouse connection.

Solution

1. SSH into the affected host.

2. Run lsusb to list USB devices and check whether a Huawei KVM USB device is present.

3. Run the following command to view USB device details and check for error messages:

   [root@localhost ~]# lsusb -v -d  $ID  //Use the corresponding ID obtained in the previous step

4. Log in to the Huawei iBMC management interface and clear the Virtual Keyboard and Mouse Persistent Connection option.

5. Reconnect the host.
