What is the default hostname when creating a virtual machine with a Distributed Port Group and no hostname is specified?

Feature description

If the hostname in the image is originally localhost, DHCP automatically assigns a hostname derived from the IP address. For example, if the virtual machine IP address is 192.168.12.3, the default hostname becomes 192-168-12-3.

Will the DHCP service on the virtualization platform conflict with the existing DHCP service in the data center?
